Valefor is a non-elemental, aerial Aeon. Its attacks are therefore not element-based, and it is highly useful against element-resistant enemies. In addition, some fiends can't even reach this airborne Aeon, making them an easy match.

This attack will send a shock wave towards one enemy, inflicting damage and delaying its next turn. Since this attack has a short recovery time and inflicts delay, you might be able to use it multiple times towards one enemy.

Valefor is the only Aeon that has two overdrives. Her Energy Rain will fire a super-charged beam that explodes underneath all the enemies and causes non-elemental damage.

Energy Blast is a "hidden" overdrive, and can be acquired by doing the following:

When Yuna and your party is ready to depart from Besaid to start their pilgrimage, return to Besaid Village. Enter the shop and talk to the girl with a red hair band will tell you that her dog has dug up something. Exit the tent and find the dog. It can be located several places in the village, most probably just outside or within a tent. Explore what the dog has found (press X when you're standing near him), and he will give you a "soggy item", which is Valefor's second overdrive Energy Blast.

Energy Blast is also a non-elemental attack that inflicts damage on all enemies. The difference from Energy Rain is that Energy Blast inflicts greater damage for the cost of a longer recovery time.
